Meet Wendy Bulosan, our New and Emerging Opportunities Manager at GSI. Wendy is one of the many dedicated and passionate employees who make GSI a great place to work. She shares with us her love for the company, her motivation, and her hobbies in this interview.

Wendy joined GSI in 2021 and has been working as an HR Admin Specialist ever since. She is responsible for providing administrative support to the HR team, such as managing employee records, processing payroll, and coordinating training and development programmes. She enjoys her role and the opportunities it offers for learning and growth.

One of the things that Wendy loves most about GSI is the people. She says, "I love everything about GSI—the people, remuneration, bonuses, company events, opportunities, transparency, and how the company takes care of its employees." She appreciates the culture of collaboration, respect, and trust that GSI fosters among its staff. She also values the good compensation and the commitment to the well-being of the employees that GSI demonstrates.

Wendy is always looking forward to new challenges and continuous learning at work. She says, "I like to challenge myself and learn new things every day. I also like to work and engage with colleagues from different departments and backgrounds. I think this helps me to grow personally and professionally." She is motivated by her family, the people who rely on her, her dream to inspire others, and spreading positivity at work.

Wendy's favorite GSI event is the Year End Party & Company Conference. She says, "This is an opportunity for all employees to come together, celebrate the accomplishments and to make new memories. I always look forward to this event because it is fun, exciting, and rewarding." She enjoys the entertainment, the awards, and the recognition that GSI gives to its outstanding employees.

Outside of work, Wendy loves to travel, hang out with friends, shop, go to the gym, and organize things at home. She says, "I like to explore new places, cultures, and cuisines. I also like to spend quality time with my friends and family. Shopping is my therapy and going to the gym is my way of staying fit and healthy. Organizing things at home makes me feel relaxed and satisfied."

Wendy's favorite office snack is the peanut butter and strawberry jam sandwich, along with tea. She says, "This snack gives me energy and satisfies my sweet tooth. I also like tea because it is soothing and refreshing."

If Wendy could have any superpower for a day, she would choose the power of teleportation—the ability to transfer from one place to another. She says, "This would give me a chance to explore the world, visit the most beautiful and intriguing places, and immediately help people in need."

Wendy is a wonderful example of a GSI employee who loves what she does and does it well. She is an asset to the company and a joy to work with.
