In 2020, we invested a total of 618 hours of training for our leaders, covering topics such as business acumen, industry trends, strategic thinking and leadership development. Our training programs are designed to help our leaders grow professionally and personally, and to foster a culture of excellence and innovation at GSI. We are proud of our leaders and their achievements, and we are committed to supporting them in their continuous learning journey.
We have partnered with 8 industry and academic training providers, both offshore and onshore, to offer our leaders the best learning opportunities. Whether it's HR, business, finance or wellness, our leaders can access high-quality training programs that are relevant, practical and aligned with our onshore counterparts. Our offshore partners include the People Management Association of the Philippines for HR related training, ANZ Chamber of Commerce for Business Acumen, the Ateneo School of Continuing Education for Financial Acumen and MindYou for Wellness.
At GSI, we believe that cultural awareness is a key skill for our leaders to succeed in the global market. That's why we invest on our leaders by providing them with opportunities to travel and learn from different cultures and perspectives. In the past year, we have invested on 320 hours of travel and training for our leaders, covering topics such as cross-cultural communication, diversity and inclusion, intercultural conflict management, and cultural intelligence. These experiences have enabled our leaders to relate and work well with their onshore counterparts, as well as to foster a culture of respect and collaboration within our teams.
