Our progress

We believe that DEI is not only the right thing to do, but also a strategic advantage that enables us to attract and retain the best talent, enhance our creativity and innovation, and serve our customers and communities better. Beginning 2024, we are striving to have regular DEI workshops, webinars and dialogues that educate our employees on topics such as unconscious bias, cultural competence and allyship. 

We partner with industry experts in crafting policies that ensure our workplace is inclusive and free from any form of discrimination. We have robust policies against discrimination across all levels of the employee life cycle, from hiring and compensation to performance management and career development.

We are proud of our progress, but we also recognize that there is always room for improvement. We are constantly learning, listening and evolving to make our company a place where everyone can thrive and succeed.


Not all organizations are equally committed to DEI, especially in the Philippines, where there is still a lack of awareness and action on this topic. According to a report by Great Place To Work Philippines, only 36% of employees in the Philippines feel that their company is doing enough to promote DEI in the workplace. 

That is why we at GSI are proud to be one of the few organizations that stick with doing what's right. We believe that DEI is not only a moral obligation, but also a strategic advantage that enables us to attract and retain the best talent, serve our diverse customers and stakeholders, and drive innovation and growth in our industry.

Inclusivity in GSI

Since inception, we strive to have policies and procedures that knows no gender, beliefs, race or any identifiers. We started with our health insurance that recognises same-sex beneficiaries and has been in place since our incorporation in 2020.

Partnership with PFIP

We are committed to fostering a diverse, equitable and inclusive culture for our employees, customers and partners. We are currently working on a partnership with the Philippine Financial and Inter-industry Pride (PFIP) association, a leading organization that promotes LGBTQ+ rights and inclusion in the financial sector and beyond.

Women of GSI

GSI is a company that values diversity and inclusion, and strives to create a supportive and empowering environment for women. One of the ways that GSI supports women in the company is by ensuring maternity cover and benefits for pregnant employees and new mothers. GSI offers paid maternity leave, flexible work arrangements, and lactation room to help women balance their work and family responsibilities. GSI also provides mentoring, coaching, and training programs to help women advance their careers and develop their leadership skills.

Another way that GSI supports women in the company is by reviewing salaries and equity on a regular basis, and taking action to address any gender pay gaps or disparities. GSI is committed to ensuring fair and equal compensation for all employees, regardless of gender, race, age, or any other factor. GSI conducts salary audits, implements pay transparency policies, and provides feedback and guidance to managers on how to reward and recognize performance. GSI also offers stock options, bonuses, and other incentives to reward employees for their contributions and achievements.

GSI is committed to community service and social responsibility. As an outsourced unit since 2017 and a corporation since 2020, we have consistently engaged in serving the communities where we operate. Following the social responsibility principles of our parent company in Australia, we at GSI believe that investing in the future, promoting a world without discrimination and ensuring effective governance are essential for the well-being of our communities.
